The pristine, white sculptural water pitcher featured at A Cup of Jo is so pretty, it briefly made us consider abandoning our tried-and-true DIY ones, below. It holds about 2 1/2 quarts, has a footprint of 10 x 7 x 4 1/2 inches and is available at Amazon for under $30, a bargain.

We love our homemade array of pretty labelless wine bottles partly because they look great and because they fit easily in our fridge to hold a lot of chilled water.

Sucker’s for the cleverly quirky, we also love the glass carafe with a lemon as a stopper a friend devised…

We’re thinking we’ll stay with our glass bottle decanters BUT will happily give the  pristine, white sculptural pitcher as a house gift…
