AirBnb has a the cure to summer boredom; take off to a tree house adventure! If you’re outdoorsy, but not sleep-in-a-tent outdoorsy, a glamorous tree house might be a good fit. There are so many scattered around the U.S. (and other places too, check out AirBnB maps for an area closest to you).
Among our favorites were an enhanced lookout tower (above) built on private land in Tiller, Oregon surrounded by the Umpqua National Forest, a garden tree house in Chicago…
…and a cabin complete with a rope bridge in Atlanta…
Imagine listening to forest sounds as you drift off in one of these fantasy treehouse. Get in a grown up summer camp experience with friends or go super romantic and bring someone special along.
There are tree houses for rent in Southern California…
…a Miami Treehouse on an organic farm is WAY more compelling than a hotel…
Now we can totally satisfy our treehouse fantasies without building one ourself (OR we can use these beauties as inspiration for the one we will build down the line). More here.
Who knew?
