At his instagram Little Brown Mushroom, photographer Alex Soth posted a beautiful little video of a rock rolling down a path in Bristol England. He dedicates it to Richard Long, whose artwork, A Line Made By Walking, below, has provided mighty inspiration in his life. As it has in ours; we’ve written about it a number of times, but never understood it as succinctly as Soth describes it:

This image – and the idea that art can be made from the process of moving through the world – has inspired me for over three decades. ⁣

Richard Long

We think of it a bit more broadly. Fill in the blank:

…art / illumination /our life / identity   _____________   can be made from the process of moving through the world.
