We know quite a few wildly-talented people who don’t have a personal website. Even if they do have plenty of word-of-mouth, paying work, we can’t help but think they limit themselves by not having an easy-to-find space online where they can introduce themselves or provide a way to contact them. Most suffer from the same dilemma: they are daunted by the process of creating a website, because it is just too much to wrap their heads around, even on template sites like Squarespace and Wix.
We’re thinking that Carrd may offer a great solution to getting a succinct, well-designed site up-and-running quickly. The idea: One page. That’s it. One simple space, easy-to-make via Carrd’s stylish templates, that gives a sense of who you are or what you do, and where to find you. Think of it as a digital business card. Brilliant.
Three sites are free. Paying gives you more bells and whistles.
Here are a couple of examples of Carrd templates and their backend. You can see how easy it is.

You use Carrd to announce a project as well, or pretty much anything. We’re thinking they could be a place to make little artworks and messages…posting a poem for example. Just that….is…..enough
