Years ago, I learned a simple recipe for boosting my immune system from a excellent homeopathic doctor. He swore by it, and I’ve come to too. I’ve been drinking it twice daily since the fierce virus scare started and each time, feel its strengthening effect.
It takes only a couple of minutes to throw together and few resources.
Chop one clove of garlic finely.
Place in a saucepan with 1 cup of water.
Bring to a boil and boil 5 seconds.
Strain and drink.
The homeopath explained that the short quick boil is what maximizes garlic’s legendary immuno-protective powers: 3-5 seconds is ideal, absolutely no longer than 10 seconds.
If you drink it frequently and want to shift the flavors, try adding a sprig of fresh thyme and/or lemon zest.
Of all the garlic-based immune system tonics I’ve tried over many years, this has been the simplest and best.
