The most recent Fashion Week has just passed in New York, London, Milan and Paris, and we’ve loved browsing through the latest photos from the collections. But this year, we’ve been struck more than ever by the photos off the runway. With the collections typically flaunting the glories of what is polished and planned, we think Tommy Ton’s street-style photography beautifully captures the other side of fashion week – that which is joyously improvised…like the girl with her tartan dress askew, above…

…and inspired, two-tone braided hair:

…brightly printed skirts and prints-on-prints:

…minimalst chic on the back of a bike (yikes!)…

…what a Yankee’s tee can bring to an outfit

You can see a more Ton’s sightings here. Simple ideas for Spring style inspiration!
