Always behind the curve on our holiday preparations, we spend the weeks around the New Year to send cards to people we love. Looking back at our post about the prints legendary educator and artist Sister Corita Kent made around the theme of “the moment” in 1977, we thought “What wonderful greeting cards they would make”.
Kent’s vividly colored, graphically modern prints contain her handwritten “reminders” calling awareness to the moment, something that is perfect any time of year.

Of course we thought of simply printing one or two out on good paper on our color printer and fashioning cards, with credit and a bit of her story, of course.

Then we did a google search. We found a number of cards with Kent’s stunning imagery:
Corita Kent Mini Book and Postcard Set, featuring thirty of her most famous expressions of love and inspiration. The perforated cards tear out to leave a book behind (Each ends of costing about $1 a piece). We also like this notecard set.

Contradiction Is part of the same thing……. not opposite
Greetings! Thanks for making Corita Kent’s art work and energy available on cards! Please advise as to how I can purchase them. I will happily support your work in the form of a contribution. Peace to all!
